If you wish to train as an electrician then we offer electrical training courses in Cornwall that will allow to to train and work
within the electrical industry. Our Electrician training courses in Cornwall allow you to progress from a novice with no
electrical experience to a fully qualified electrician. Working with City and Guilds as well as NICEIC electrical training
courses EBO offers a full electrician training and assessment package that allows you to become a qualified Electrician. Unlike
most training centers you will be able complete all of your training with us. You do not need any previous experience to enroll
on this course. Our all-inclusive fast-track Electrical programme will give you all the skills, qualifications and experience in
Domestic Installation that will allow you to gain work immediately within the Electrical Industry. Due to expansion we are also
looking to directly employ successful candidates.
MILITARY RESETTLEMENT
EBO has trained many services leavers from around the UK and abroad to become electricians. The NICEIC electrical training course
is ideal for military personnel who wish to train as an electrician whilst undertaking military resettlement. The NICEIC
Domestic Installers Scheme with subsequent registration with the NICEIC is the best method of entry into the electrotechnical
industry. It is in most of the UK the industry standard. We can arrange accommodation and give you advice on becoming a paid
electrician as well as further training that you may require.
NICEIC BASIC DOMESTIC INSTALLERS SCHEME
For new entrants (including military personnel) who wish to enter the electrical industry or those with limited experience we
offer a five-week intensive electrical course in Cornwall. The domestic electrical installers course will teach you how to carry
out domestic installations and to safely test and certify your own work within current regulations. Successful electrical
candidates would be able to register with a body such as the NICEIC as a NICEIC Domestic Electrical Installer. Our course
includes the City and Guilds 2381 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2377 Portable Appliance Testing, which are both level 3
qualifications. To compliment these qualifications we also include the NICEIC Domestic Electrical Installers course, which,
along with practical training and assessment, will allow successful candidates to work within the Electrotechnical industry.
FULLY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN SCHEME
After completing the EBO Basic Domestic Installers Course you may wish to take your electrical training further and become a
fully qualified electrician. This will allow you to work on both a domestic and commercial electrical systems.
This course focuses on the City and Guilds 2330. The 2330 is the current Electrotechnical certificate to enable candidates to
become a qualified electrician. After completion of the 2330 Trade Services can offer on-site assessment once you have a work
placement to allow you to gain your work based evidence for your NVQ Level 3. Once you have both the NVQ Level 3 and 2330 you
can then register with the JIB as a fully qualified electrician.
Unlike other training centres we can also offer various study modes for this course to suit prospective candidate’s needs from
day release, evening classes, intensive courses and even via distance learning.
ALREADY AN ELECTRICIAN?
EBO offers On Site Assessment and Training for electricians based in Cornwall.
If you have completed a NICEIC Domestic Installers Course or you work as an experienced electrician in Cornwall you will be
eligible to enrol on your NVQ Level 2, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation with EBO. Our electrical assessors will
visit you on site and will assess your work to further your electrician training.
EBO also offers the City and Guilds 2392 which is the new qualification in Inspection,Testing and Certification of Electrical
Installations. This qualification is invaluable to anyone wishing to gain approved electrician status with the JIB.
Finally, EBO also offers 17th Edition wiring regs and PAT Testing for qualified electricians working in Devon and Cornwall.
